Your first visit to Cool Braces in Oak Lawn or Berwyn won’t cost you a thing. We want you to get a taste of our patient experience with no risk, so you can feel confident in your decision to start treatment with us. It’s all about you here.
What does my free first visit include?
Your first visit includes:
- Comprehensive orthodontic exam, including digital x-rays and diagnostic photos
- One-on-one consultation with our experienced orthodontist, Dr. Tahir
- A whole lotta fun and the coolest vibes (at no additional charge)
Can I start treatment during my first visit?
Yes, you can! We’re proud to offer Same Day Braces for patients who don’t want to wait any longer to start treatment. Isn’t that every patient?
If you tell us that you’re interested in Same Day Braces, we’ll reserve time to start your treatment on the same day as your free consultation. You can leave our (very cool) office with braces on your teeth, or your Invisalign scans complete.
How to do it:
- Request your free exam at our orthodontist office in Oak Lawn or Berwyn.
- When we reach out to you to schedule your appointment, let us know that you’re interested in a Same Day Start.
- Show up and start cheesing. It’s really that simple.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
STEP 1: MEET OUR COOL TEAM
First, you’ll be greeted with big ol’ smiles from our friendly, energetic team. That will never change. We’re always happy to see you!
You’ll meet one of our new patient coordinators who will show you around the office and get to know you on a personal level.
STEP 2: TAKE X-RAYS & PHOTOS
Now, we take care of all the official stuff. Using the advanced iTero® handheld digital scanner, we’ll take quick impressions of your teeth and bite. (None of that weird goopy putty necessary.)
The iTero device produces an easy, comfortable digital scan for Dr. Tahir to assess your smile, but it also creates a simulated preview of your treatment results for you. Get a sneak peek of your stunning new selfie-worthy smile before you even begin treatment!
We’ll take digital x-rays with our low-radiation x-ray machine. Dr. Tahir will use these diagnostic photos, digital impression scans and x-rays to craft your personalized treatment plan.
STEP 3: MEET DR. TAHIR!
Dr. Ejaz Tahir is here to help you in your personal journey of becoming a magnet to everything good in life.
Dr. Tahir’s skill and obsession in perfecting the fine details come from his unique background in the origami artistry world. He can see details that many people cannot.
Your orthodontist will perform a detailed exam of your current smile to prepare for your new smile. From here, Dr. Tahir will discuss his findings and present our modern treatment options to you.
He’ll answer all of your questions and tell you everything you need to know about your personal treatment journey.
STEP 4: PICK AN AFFORDABLE PAYMENT PLAN
While Dr. Tahir is whipping up your very own custom treatment plan, our new patient coordinator will sit down with you and work out a financial plan to cover the cost for braces or Invisalign.
We’ll discuss your needs, calculate your insurance benefit, and craft a payment plan with low monthly payments. Who says orthodontics is too expensive? Not our patients!
STEP 5: PREPARE TO BECOME A MAGNET TO LIFE’S OPPORTUNITIES
*Drum roll* … It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for. If you choose a Same Day Start, you won’t have to leave our office in anxious anticipation for your next visit. Dr. Tahir can place your braces or begin the Invisalign process during your first visit.
